im gonna bang my head on my keyboard....gtgfbvtgbgbgbv

See that kid? The one who looks like they are about to start crying? That's EXACTLY how I feel right now. STRESSED. And what's worse, is it' only monday. I got the results from my mid terms...they weren't that bad...or that great. Whatever. And everyone from school is just so...blaah!! I don't know. Everyone is being really weird and annoying, which of course and most definitely includes all the random kids that I don't know. GRRR.

I really can't explain exactly why I'm stressed...but I really do feel stressed. It's annoying. I guess it's just the fact that I'm a senior, and everyone is talking about how pumped they are for college. I am too and I am definitely ready to get the h-e-double hockey sticks out of high school, but I'm not really ready to leave all my friends...boooo.

I. Hate. Tests.

So I cannot believe half of my senior year is complete! I always knew it was supposed to fly by, I just didn't really believe it. We just finished our midterm week. AP Econ went ok...but lets just say that test was easier to B.S than AP Gov. I HATE THAT CLASS SO MUCH!!!! To make matters worse, that test was on a friday...morning, meaning I had to get up at 6:50 to take a test at 7:45.

But, on the bright side, I went to my friend Elisha's house with my friends Emily and Meg. We played with her puppy maggie and made a trip to wegmans and the mcdonalds drive through...in the ghetto car. It was a lot of fun. I don't think I could have made it through that test without knowing I was going to be hanging out with them afterwords.

A bat?! What?

In January, we had our madrigal choir's madrigal dinner! ^That's us up there^. The madrigal choir is a select group of singers from my high school, that perform only A Capella pieces, including pieces from the medieval-aimed genre. We all dress up too! All the girls get to wear pretty dresses and all the guys wear tights and pants. At the madrigal dinner, we perform skits, multiple concerts and old english accents at a church for guests who paid $35 bucks to come see us. It's an expensive price to pay, but everyone agrees- It's worth it.

This year, something rather bizarre occurred. My friends and I were upstairs getting our dresses and hats pinned. Then, as we went to go downstairs, we noticed something. Something that is definitely not supposed to be there. A bat! It was flying around and swooping. Of course we all screamed, and yelled, "There's a bat! There's a bat!". Then someone would ask, "what?". And of course, they found out the hard way. Across the room, there were girls trying to come in and everytime they tried walking in, the bat would swoop down on their heads and get freaked out by all the high pitched screaming. My friends Meg and Erin, and I, closed the door so the bat couldnt get any farther, but of course, the bat found a way to get in the room we locked ourselves in. The other end of the room was open with no door, so the bat flew in from there and totally ambushed us. AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! so we ran into the kitchen and caused chaos there, while tripping over our dresses and falling up the stairs.

And let me tell you,
It.
Was.
AWESOME!

This memory was such a fun memory. It was absolutely hilarious after the chaos was through. I don't think they ever did find the bat, and we were all afraid it was going to come in during the dinner. It never did though.

Oh, and the situation looked something like this:

Played by me (the bat) and meg (everyone else). :)

Senior Year Up To January...In A Nutshell....

Lots of things have happened since September. In a nutshell.... Homecoming was a blast! Spirit week was fun. The majorettes (baton twirlers) did a whole 2 baton routine. It was amazing. We all looked great. I also participated in the Lip Sync for the senior class for the pep ralley. Our theme was the 60s. Our dance was super awesome!!! :) Then of course...there was the Homecoming dance. We all looked awesome. The dance was...not very fun. As usual. I'm not a dance girl. I'm sure other people had fun though! Add ImageWe have also been fund raising for Eric Whitacre to come to our school. He is a very very very very very famous choral composer and he is big in our book at Canandaigua. In the fall we had a car wash at tops and raised a lot of money. That was a lot of fun! We also had a pointsetta sale, and a parents time off. During the parents time off, we babysat a whole bunch of little kids at the elementary school for a couple hours. It was a lot of fun!
We also have had the production of the Fall Drama, The Phantom Tollbooth. I participated in that, as well did others. I don't have any pictures of that though! :( We also had the prism concert! No pictures of that either... And I believe, as far as events go, up until January, That's a wrap!

Summer 2009

Summer of 2009. Probably one of the best summers of my life. I enjoyed every second of it, and had the pleasure of sharing it with amazing people. Many teenagers look forward to spending time on the beach, hitting the amusement parks and driving around with your friends. Me? I look forward to dressing up as a pokemon, wearing tube socks religiously and singin in the rain, because I work at a summer camp.

Summer camp is one of the most life changing experiences out there. I ca
nt even begin to imagine what my life would be like, or what kind of person I would be if I never grew up with it. And ever since I was hired in 2008, my life has changed (for the better). I find it funny when people judge my job. My peers think it's gross. They cringe at the thought that they wouldn't be able keep their phones on them at all times and that facebook would just have to wait. They also despise all of the bugs and gag at the thought of camp showers.

But you know what I think? Who cares? Who cares that I won't be able to have my phone in my pocket all day? I can always check it and use it when I'm on break at night. And as for facebook? It's just sad if you need to check it every 2 seconds. And the bugs are actually really neat. The showers aren't the best but they are better than no showers at all. Besides, it's not supposed to be 1st class; It's summer camp.

This picture sums up my entire summer. That's a picture of us. Us, as in, the 4-H Camp Bristol Hills Staff of 2009. We're basically a huge family. We live together all summer, and have the time of our life. Yes, it can be stressful at times, but we are always there for each other. I love that. I don't feel that kind of comfort anywhere else. It's also the only place where I can truly be myself too. Everyone for the most part gets along too, and new members are welcomed just the same as old members. Even though we are all different ages and we come from all over the place, we all have one thing in common: each other.

This is the first blog entry I have ever written. I'm not entirely sure why I decided to start a blog, but it sure looks like fun. I'm all about fun actually. I think it's the most amazing thing ever. It always gives you something to look forward to in life. I don't know why, but for some reason, I find it appealing to write my stories here. There is a certain appeal to it. I'm writing because maybe someone will find my life interesting, but also because soon I'll be off to college, and this way my high school friends can still see what I'm up to (besides checking my facebook).

Anyways...

Hi. I'm Annie. I'm 17, a Senior at Canandaigua Academy, and basically I have no life. I'm a teenage girl, but lets get this straight: I'm not your average teenager. I'm the type of girl who would rather stay up late talking about nonsense, versus doing my nails. I love reading magazines. You know, the educational kind. National Geographic is simply amazing. Tv is cool too. I love watching cartoons, and making fun of reality television. I love strawberry kiwi snapple , and have a collection of snapple caps in a shoebox in my closet. I love the rain and photography. AND VIDEO GAMES! I'm also a romantic. :) They say I never stop smiling, and I'll laugh at anything. I hate makeup. I think its fake and girls should just accept the way they naturally look. I have fish and a hermit crab. I take a Harry Potter english class, and am a proud gryffindor. I make my own jewlery from time to time. I absolutely love photography and have a passion for it. However, funny pictures with the friends are my favorites. The salvation army is the BEST! I'm also a singer too. And I participate in the musicals at my high school. Yeah, I'm a music nerd. Whatever. I love them. Strawberry icecream with rainbow sprinkles puts a smile on my face anyday. I love having dance parties in my room. And I'm proud to say, no one quite understands me.

So here are my stories. I'm trying to sum up all the fun I have had my senior year so far. Yet, most of these memories will be from earlier in the year (so sorry that the first few will be a bit jumbled). But then I will try my best to keep it up to date.

Sorry if I bore you:)
